Big upgrade! Low cost!
Way better than I was expecting.
I was recently upgrading all the parts on my first strat, and a buddy told me the trem system upgrade would be the biggest. I’m glad I listened to him and got this, because it was night and day.
I’m not sure if it’s just me, because I’m using my old springs, but my guitar stays in tune better now when using the trem bar.
I uploaded a photo to show how small and light my old trem block was compared to this one.
Side note…everything fits perfectly using my old screws. No pickguard shaving necessary.

Big time improvement to MIM Fender Standard (Pre ’06) and Squier Classic Vibe Stratocasters
Perfect compliment to my Fender MIM Standard Strat (2005); 50s Classic Vibe (2012), and; 60s Classic Vibe (2016). What I like most is the girth and heft it adds to the guitar, noticeable sustain improvement, simple installation, and the intonation was set almost perfect. What I don’t like is attaching the springs (no fault to the product) once it is installed. Not my favorite part of the process. However, the benefit far outweighs the cost. It’s a definite improvement over the thin block bridge you find in pre- ’06 MIM Standards, and most Asian import Squier Strats.

Great upgrade for a Squire or older MIM Fender.
This was a direct fit for a 1980 Squire MIM Stratocaster. I was replacing the stock tremolo that had the block style saddles and tiny cast tremolo block. The guitar sounds much better now. I was hoping the tremolo block was steel but after the magnet test I’m pretty sure it’s zinc. I don’t know if the improved sound is due to the bent steel saddles or the more massive trem block or both but I would recommend this if you have the same tremolo I did. I had previously modded this guitar with Sperzel locking tuners, Fender custom shop Texas special pickups, Fender 250k pots, and vintage capacitors. The guitar felt like it was halfway there for years. I wish I would have replaced the bridge a long time ago because now the guitar feels and sounds complete.
