Does the job very well.
Get a drill, a small bit, four narrow bolts with four washers and four lock washers. I used a mini hacksaw to cut the rivets off my broken handle. All of the holes did not line up with this new handle. I used the ones that did, and drilled new holes very carefully in the very old case, using the new handle as a template. After mounting everything, using Loctite on the bolts, I nipped the protruding ends off the bolts and used a mini wheel to smooth everything out. Everything looks great, and the handle is comfortable. (This is on a ’67 P-Bass case.) RECOMMENDED.

Looks original, fits well, needs hardware.
Put this on a well-used case that’s been on tour around the world, in use for over 20 years. It wasn’t a Fender case, but it was a good quality case. This handle fits exactly where the rivets were. You will need mounting hardware for it. I used small, short, screws, nuts and washers. I did grind the ends down inside the case, but the bolts are nowhere near the body or neck, so it’s all good. After a month it’s looking like it will last another 20 years….now for the one latch…….

Looked like it would work
Came quickly. This was to replace the handle on a tabletop display case that was destroyed during the shipping of an event. I scanned several adds and found this one. Looked like it would work. I removed the old, broken hinges and put on the new handle with no problem. At least a sturdy as the old one. Great to have a handle back.

Bought this to use as the handle on my custom-built …
I bought this to use as the handle on my custom-built case for my Jackson RRX7 (Rhodes-style 7-string) guitar. The case + guitar weighs 31 lbs. No problem with the handle. Been lugging it around for about 6 months now.
