• DESIGNED FOR STAINLESS STEEL FRETS — High-carbon steel cutting edges handle stainless steel fretwire and produce a close, nearly flat cut, reducing the material left for subsequent filing and finishing.
• INTENTIONAL CUTTING-EDGE ALIGNMENT — The cutting-edge alignment on this model is intentional and designed to improve durability. The edges meet without a gap when closed. This design characteristic is normal and is not a manufacturing defect.
• FACTORY CUT-TESTED — A small whitish mark may be visible on the blade from factory cutting tests. This test mark is part of the quality-check process and does not indicate that the tool has been previously owned or used by a customer.
• RUBBER GRIPS AND SAFETY LOCK — Rubber-covered handles provide grip and leverage during cutting. The T-shaped sliding lock helps prevent accidental opening: slide upward to lock and downward to unlock.
• PURPOSE-BUILT FOR FRET WORK — Measures 210 mm overall with a 16 mm cutting-edge width. Designed for fret-end trimming during installation and repair; this model is not intended for cutting or removing fret tangs.
