Just what I was looking for to play along with a jam track and not disturb anyone else in the house late at night.
This is an awesome device that allows you to play your electric guitar without bothering anyone else with a noisy amplifier at home or late at night. You can feed one input from your computer earphone output or your ipad output into the unit which has a gain adjustment for both input and output balance. This allows you to play along with a jam track with equal balance sounds from the track and your guitar input.

Cool little gadget
I’m not sure how much one can say about a headphone amplifier. It works as advertised, it’s controls are smooth and reasonably linear, and it produces a sound much like many real amplifiers. I haven’t tried it with my Hummingbird Pro which doesn’t need it anyway, but with my Les Paul (both are Epiphone) it produces a distorted, fuzzy but rich sound typical of lower end humbuckers. I’d like a cleaner sound, but I haven’t tried much to change it since it’s only a practice tool. Bottom line, it works as advertised, I like it, and if something happened I would buy this same model again. I am going to buy an extension cable so that it isn’t mounted in the jack because the location on the Les Paul makes me bump it and since I like this, I don’t want to break it.

Works really well
Don’t experience any dropouts as I move around and sound is clear and full. All the controls work.
