This is a Fender pickup cover. It’s made out of good materials and when coupled with the Fender bridge cover it gives your Precision a cool retro look. It should be noted that for most bassists this cover is located right where a lot of people like to play so keep that in mind. Also, like the bridge cover it does not come with screws.

Gives the P-bass a classic look

Flatter than previous pickup covers
Color: Chrome
Put this on a Precision bass and looks great. It does not include screws but you can use pickguard screws from Fender or any #4 x 1/2 screws from your hardware store. This is the newer chrome pickup cover being installed on the recent American Vintage Series. The cover is very flat versus the very rounded ones found on the previous discontinued Vintage Reissue line. I think it looks better and actually feels better to play as the flat surface makes it easier to anchor on or move around.
