    They’re Switchcraft… good

I had a strat copy guitar that began having problems with the output jack in less than a week so I ordered these Switchcraft jacks, installed one and problem solved. The design is better and the tolerances far superior. Basically the hole on the cheap jacks is larger than it should be which allows the cable to wobble around and the connection itself is less secure. Combine the two and you have a problem. Switchcraft jacks don’t have either of those problems which is why they are the industry standard.

Cheap, reliable, and easy to install.

I ordered a six-pack of these after replacing a troublesome jack that came with my Epiphone Limited Edition Les Paul Traditional Pro. These Switchcraft output jacks are a bit more snug than most of the ones that have come on several of my guitars, so I decided to bring a few more in and change a few others out after liking the way they securely hold the cables in place. Cheap, reliable, and easy to install. I don’t see how you could go wrong with these little buggers.

    Perfect Click….

This just has that perfect click to it. I broke a cheap one that came with a kit I was building out for my Gma. The tele bore was just a bit tight to feed the jack down into and in the bending on the cheap one it just snapped. I still have the stock one on a twin I built for myself and it just doesn’t have that solid click that you want. I will probably swap one of these into my tele when I have some time.
